Forests and landscapes fund

Protecting the Kakamega forest through local agroforestry.

Intro to the fund

Since the start of the 21st century, we have lost a total of 76.3 million hectares of primary forest loss globally.

We must halt and reverse the degradation of these forest ecosystems, and restore landscapes in a way that is holistic, community-focused, and ecologically sound. Our Forests & Landscapes Fund is designed to support a wide range of world-leading projects which are placing the right interventions in the right places to protect and restore these precious landscapes.
